Mornings can be stressful, especially as a student. Between getting ready, checking emails, and trying not to be late for class, breakfast is usually the first thing to get skipped. I used to either grab something unhealthy or not eat at all because I thought cooking took too much time. Eventually, I realized that there are easy ways to make breakfast without much effort.

The first breakfast I rely on is scrambled eggs with toast. I crack two eggs into a bowl, scramble them, and cook them in a pan while my toast is in the toaster. The whole process takes about five minutes. If I have extra time, I add cheese or vegetables, but even plain eggs are filling and give me energy for the day.

The second option is a yogurt bowl. This is perfect when I’m really short on time. I grab a bowl, add yogurt, and throw in whatever I have on hand such as fruit, granola, or nuts. There’s no cooking involved, and it still feels like a real meal instead of just a snack.

The third breakfast is a microwave egg wrap. I scramble an egg in a mug, microwave it, then wrap it in a tortilla with cheese. It’s quick, easy, and portable, which is great when I have to eat on the way to class.

These breakfast ideas prove that cooking in the morning doesn’t have to be complicated. Small habits like eating a simple breakfast can make a big difference in how you feel throughout the day.
